A Prosumer Camera Worthy of Notation  | ||
| I have 2 of these cameras at work that I use for documentary style filming of local talent in presentation and teaching venues. With having read the recent information on the XH A1s, (we are considering purchasing 2 additional cameras) and the differences between the A1 and the A1s are so minimal, that we feel that even at the same cost, it's basically not necessary. In our que of cameras, we use a an XL 1s, an XL 2 and two XH A1. We have numerous years of Canon experience and have yet to be read more . . . | ||

| I was looking for a new camera to make independent digital films. My previous camera was a Canon GL-1 and I loved it, still use it and have made very successful videos with it. But the demands for higher quality by distributors made it clear I would have to upgrade to HD. My reasons for choosing the XH-A1 where similar to my choice of the GL-1. | Very happy with performance!With manual focus, zoom and iris rings on the barrel of the lens, the XH-A1 prosumer camcorder marks itself as first in its class with an on-lens, servo-controlled, manual iris. | Canon XH-A1 3CCD HDV Camcorder is pal or ntsc if i bouy it with jersey store? Is it a good idea to buy this camera if i live in france: is it difficult to "renvoyer" the camera if it is broken or else?
